DIOCESE OF CARABAYLLO
Hundreds of children live in extremely vulnerable conditions.
Structural poverty limits their educational opportunities and their access to decent food .
This project emerged as an initiative that aims to change realities by uniting education, nutrition, training, and sustainability.
PROJECT PHASES


PHASE 1: CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNITY KITCHEN
Closed and insulated construction of 100m2 with a light structure.
Equipment: industrial kitchens, gas cylinders, refrigerator, kitchenware, etc.
Industrial washing area and restrooms for children and staff.
BUDGET €18,500
collaborates with phase 1

PHASE 2: SELF-SUSTAINABLE GARDEN AND FARM
1,200m2 of land for livestock and agriculture, with rotating production.
Intermediate water storage with drip irrigation system.
Supply of the dining room for 300 children.
Budget: €8,500

PHASE 3: CONSTRUCTION OF CHILDREN'S DINING ROOM
175m2 space with structure and light roof.
Capacity for 150 children per shift (2 or 3 shifts daily) feeding 300 to 450 children.
Furniture and materials for each shift.
Budget: €43,500

PHASE 4: VIRTUAL LIBRARY
Conditioning of the existing building.
A digital classroom equipped with 30 computers, internet access, a library, digital resources, basic training, and values-based content.
Furniture for capacity of 150 children per shift.
Budget: €12,500

PHASE 5: SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING MODEL
Sewing, cooking, carpentry, blacksmithing, etc. workshops.
Installation of workshops for the production of products for sale using local resources.
Purchase of instruments for training cycles
